Maxwell Dance Teacher Spotlight – Jen

Maxwell Dance Teacher Spotlight – Miss Jen! So many of you know and love her, and we’re so excited to share some fun things to get to know her!

Jen started dancing when she was 11 years old! She trained in ballet, jazz, hip, hop, and lyrical. She was on the West Jordan High School drill team and was the president her senior year! In college, she also joined the SLCC Dance Company. She has been choreographing and teaching dance for 18 years. That’s a long time!

When she was little, Jen wanted to be a dance instructor when she grew up. That worked out well! She specializes in hip hop and jazz at Maxwell Dance Studio, and both are her favorite styles. She also teaches at a private school in South Jordan!

Jen and her husband went to high school together, but they didn’t officially meet until after his LDS mission when they were in a singles ward together. They’ve now been married for almost 15 years! They have three beautiful daughters and a dog named Coco.
